About Us
The Game Larder has been providing the highest quality meat from our shop in Claygate since 1960.
Through the decades, the business has changed hands and evolved to keep pace with customer’s needs
but the underlying principle has been preserved; Quality Produce, Skilfully Prepared.
We are a family-owned butchers with long standing links to Claygate. As a prominent business located
on The Parade, we share an inextricable connection with our neighbouring independent shop owners, and
the importance of our local community is at the heart of it. This connection creates an enjoyable and
unique food shopping experience and we are proud to uphold the butchery component.
Our Products
We strive to offer a high quality product that is rich in taste and sourced from providers who are committed
to the welfare of their animals. Through our butchery skills we add value to our meat and offer our customers
traditional butchery cuts and dressed meats.
We are developing a range of our own in house marinades and rubs which will add a further dimension to our
offering. We are expanding our product range also to offer more choice and give you the chance to try meat
products that are not so easily sourced in the market place.
We are here to assist you in any way we can so you can maximise your enjoyment of our meat. Please ask for
help if you are not sure about meat preparation and optimal cooking times.
